Solid Surface

Since 1995 Nelthorpe's Kitchen and Appliance Center has been custom fabricating the finest solid surface countertops. Solid surfaces are acrylic materials with a vast array of benefits. With over three hundred color choices available, it is a material that will delightfully interact with any design scheme. Beyond just their beauty, solid surfaces are also highly functional. They are durable, easy to clean, stain resistant and completely repairable. The fact that solid surfaces are non-porous makes them one of the few materials approved for use in commercial food surface areas and in health care facilities. Moisture cannot penetrate this material making it totally resistant to mold, bacteria, or any other pathogen. With virtually invisible seams and totally integrated sink bowls they truly are a one of a kind countertop solution. Solid surface is also the ideal material for tub decks, shower surrounds, or virtually anything you or your designer can imagine. Our selections include; Corian, Staron, and Hi-Macs.

Quartz Surfaces

Quartz surfaces are the ultimate marriage of form and function. They are comprised of 93% crushed quartz, one of the World's hardest materials. Once crushed, the quartz is then combined in a unique process of intense vibration, heat and pressure with advanced polymer resins. The result of this process is a product with unmatched beauty and unsurpassed durability. Unlike granite and marble, quartz surfaces require no sealing or maintenance and have low to no emission of toxic chemicals into the indoor air environment. Quartz surfaces are available with a ten to fifteen year warranty.
